• Program Leadership: Directed basic research at MD Anderson’s Brain Tumour Center; Co-PI of MD Anderson’s inaugural Brain SPORE; Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs overseeing promotion and tenure for 1,700 faculty and career development for 3,000+ trainees.
• Federal and Industry Service: Director of NCI’s Center for Cancer Training managing a $210 million portfolio; permanent member and chair of NIH study sections; advisor on international grant review committees.
